2008 Annual Conference
Our 2008 Annual Conference will be held September 24 – 26 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. It is the premiere gathering of Northwest grantmakers and offers high quality programming and intensive learning in a relaxed venue.
Highlights of this years conference include:
- Keynote speech by the authors of Where Does the Money Go?, lauded by the New York Times as the “one book” key to understanding what is really at stake this election year.
- Opening keynote speech by Bill Somerville, author of Grassroots Philanthropy: Field Notes of a Maverick Grantmaker.
- Trustee Salons – an intimate forum for foundation trustees. Sessions for community foundations, special programming for corporate grantmakers and a look at rural and tribal philanthropy.
- Experiential sessions highlighting the history and culture of Coeur d’Alene and the Inland Northwest.
