Boyer is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to support the CFO in managing and administering the activities of our small accounting department. The Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting operations, medical billing, and will assist with financial reporting and budgeting.

Essential Duties:
  • Ensure that financial information produced by the Accounting Department is accurate, timely, and supports management functions 
  • Work with the accounting staff to process A/R, A/P, payroll, bank deposits, and month end close
  • Oversee patient billing & collections process within our Electronic Medical Records system
  • Supervise two staff – Bookkeeper and Medical Biller
  • Prepare journal entries for adjustments, accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses and depreciation of assets
  • Assist CFO with state and federal taxes, the annual audit, annual budget, and grant reporting
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts as needed
  • Train and develop accounting personnel; evaluate staff performance annually
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of general accounting experience; management experience is desired, but not required
  • CPA certification is preferred, but not required 
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a healthy work ethic, inquisitive mind, and the confidence and ability to get things done
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
  •  Non-profit experience is a plus
